Physician Advocacy

Have a gripe against a managed care organization? Your medical society is here to lend a hand. We will write letters on your behalf to the Department of Corporations, our legislators and the managed care organizations themselves. The MCMS has partnered with the Santa Clara County Medical Association (SCCMA) to provide assistance in responding to physician complaints against third party payers. In addition, your membership in the California Medical Association avails you to all of their ombudsman services as well. If you’re a member, we’re happy to go to bat for you. Often times the voice of an association speaks louder and more powerfully than that of an individual physician.
